I Need Assistance!

Victim Classes
A.R.M.S. purpose is to provide educational workshops that are based on a biblical perspective of Psalm 23.  The group for women, titled "Her Journey"meets at Portland Foursquare Church.

Women may join "Her Journey" during any point in the fifteen week session.  "Her Journey" is designed to help women walk through the healing process from abuse.  We will help you move "Through the Valley," learning how to come out of denial to understanding he effects of abuse.  Discussions will center on setting boundaries, anger, love, addiction and perfectionism.  The beginning steps will help in understanding how to end the abusive cycle.  The next session, "Past the Shadows" deals with issues of depression, loneliness, submission and blame.  The final five classes are titled "Into His Light" and will address issues of forgiveness, making right choices, gaining a healthy self esteem and finding purpose in life.  In this session we discuss what love should look like and how to live life victoriously because God wants us to succeed!

A.R.M.S. has 18 other locations including Aloha, Hillsboro, Newport, Lincoln City, Beaverton, Sherwood, Clackamas and Washington State.  Please click here for other locations.  Also, please call the main office at 503.846.9284 for information on classes for men and youth.
