Helpful Connection Group Information:
- How long do Connection Groups last? Most groups meet each week during three 10-week trimesters during the year.
- What can I expect to happen at a Connection Group? While every group is unique, there are two common denominators: 1) we work to intentionally build relationship with each other; and 2) we dialog about what we’re learning on Sundays at PDX4.
- Do any Connection Groups specialize in particular topics? We have two kinds of specialized groups: 1) Alpha—this group studies the basics of Christianity; 2) Financial Peace University—this group uses Dave Ramsey’s material to study personal finance.
- How do I find the right group for me? You’ll see that groups meet at different times during the week, and at locations all around the Portland area. There are also groups that are just for women, men or couples. Check out the specifics for each group and choose one that matches your interests and needs.
- Will I be in this group for life? Only if you want to be! Please stick with your Connection Group for the 10 week trimester—then either stay with that group or check out a different group the next time around.
