David and Susan Ballentyne Foursquare Missionaries to Budapest, Hungary David and Susan are now working with Foursquare Missions International on assignment in Budapest, Hungary.  They have moved to Budapest where Susan is now teaching English in a Hungarian High School.  David is currently working on learning the Hungarian language. Most importantly and delightfully they are beginning to make friendships and relationships that they trust will become not only life-long additions to their lives, but also the beginning of a new church in Hungary.  Messenger Van

The Messenger Van serves nearly 100 homeless people every second and fourth Saturday from noon to 5 pm. The mobile feeding van is equipped to travel and so it does! Wherever the need is greatest, our team will be found feeding and ministering to the needy. Our volunteers prepare and serve a hearty meal which we take to various locations around the Pearl District.

City Team

Come and serve food during our daily services or help in organizing our clothes closet for give away. There is a big need for women volunteers to serve during the afternoons from 3-5pm for the women’s outreach. There are many other daily opportunities to serve.

Union Gospel Mission

There is a big need for sorting and giving out of clothes and toiletries. We need Bibles donated and people to help serve food during the busy Thanksgiving weekend.

Benson High School

There was a great turn out for Community Care Day at Benson High School with over 40 volunteers in August! After our day of clean up, we noticed that the rest of the campus could desperately use some more help with weeding, shrub trimming, lawn edging, etc. Let’s continue to show Benson High that we desire to serve our community and its families.

Young Life

Portland Central Young Life is an incarnational outreach ministry for middle and high school kids living in the inner-eastside. We meet on Monday nights at PDX4! Kids from five different high schools in the inner-eastside converge for a wild night. Come help us by serving chili dogs and loving on kids!

PDX4 Seniors

We need your help serving some of our many seniors who need assistance around the house. This includes weeding, trimming bushes, mowing lawns, electrical work and plumbing. Any type of home repair and maintenance work is needed.

Our Church campus needs your help! With fall at hand we need some major leaf clean up. The shrubs around the educational building need a drastic hair cut. Our gutters and walkways need to be cleared to prevent flooding, etc.
