Born and raised in Southern California, Dennis is a graduate of LIFE Pacific College in Los Angeles, with both the B.A. and B.Th Degrees. He has a Master of Arts Degree from Azusa Pacific University and is currently pursuing his Doctorate of Ministry at George Fox University.

In 1975, Dennis and his wife, Patsy, accepted the role as senior pastor of the Lancaster, California Foursquare Church. During the next seven years, he helped establish three new churches in Acton, Mojave, and North Edwards, all in California.

In 1982, Dennis returned to Van Nuys, California to serve as Executive Director and then Co-pastor of The Church On The Way. Three years later, Dennis became the senior pastor of the Horizon Foursquare Church in Ventura, California, where he and Patsy served until February of 2000. Under their pastoral leadership, the congregation grew to over 500 in attendance, planted two daughter congregations in the same city and directly assisted in the revitalization of several others.

In January of 2000 Dennis accepted the position of Supervisor of the South Central District and relocated to San Antonio, TX. There he helped to bring an intentional and strategic response to the larger Foursquare mission of developing healthy reproducing churches led by healthy reproducing leaders. On the way to leading the district to multiply itself, he pioneered and implemented a strategic approach to leadership development called Empowering Leaders. Dennis is a developer of leaders.

He continues as a consultant for the Foursquare National Church Office. Dennis is a strategic thinker and a gifted communicator. His insight into the Word coupled with a commitment to Spirit-filled ministry has blessed leaders and churches across our nation.
